What?

Taking a road trip out west. Will probably post pictures here.

When?

Right about... now. Until question marks (probably about a month).

Where?

Here, optimistically. But it's not set in stone. Maybe more, maybe less.

It's just a coincidence that it looks like a cowboy hat, but that doesn't mean I don't love it.

Why?

Mid-life crisis. But also I was planning on changing jobs soon anyway. And I've been wanting to do a trip like this for years. And I had some money saved up and the timing worked out.

Don't wanna get too philosophical or sentimental, but these two quotes sum it up pretty well.

Stan, the used coffin salesman, dropping truth bombs, "Closing time comes too soon for us all, you've got to try all the snacks you can before it does."

The oft repeated motto of Jacques Cousteau (I've never actually heard a recording of him saying it though). *«Il faut aller voir»*, which roughly means "we must go and see for ourselves".

How?

And that's it in a nutshell. Hopefully by posting this, I didn't jinx it and my car'll break down just outside of Ann Arbor. I guess we'll see. Nothing left to it now but to do it. Okey dokey. Goodbye for now!
